Room rates vary according to the season, number of days and number of guests. Children 5 years old and younger, who do not require a separate bedding, do not need to be included in the total number of guests. If a child requires 5 years old and younger requires their own bedding, please include them in the total number of guests.
Our Superior Twin (with Sofa Bed) rooms are perfect if you're traveling with friends, family, or even solo. After a day of exploring the city, come back to your room and relax on the spacious double beds. Every room features original Japanese artwork inspired by the nearby historical Takayama Jinya site, as well as wood accents from the original machiya architecture.
Wind down on the sofa while watching TV or enjoying a cup of our original MACHIYA coffee. When you stay in this room with 3 guests, the sofa will convert into a sofa bed.

To support the protection of Takayama's beautiful nature, we're doing our part in reducing the use of disposable bath amenities. Guests will be provided with a bamboo tooth brush (and toothpaste), along with a resuable body towel. We encourage all guests to bring these amenities home and continue using them in your day-to-day life.* If you require additional amenities during your stay, these may be purchased at the front desk.
