Please note that only luggage that has been dropped off between 10AM~3PM will be eligible for our luggage delivery service.

Complete your Payment

You must arrive at the MACHIYA INNS & HOTELS Welcome Desk between 10AM ~ 3PM to use our luggage delivery service. A delivery fee will be charged per luggage to use the luggage delivery service.

Your luggage will be delivered to your machiya accommodation between 4PM~7PM.

IMPORTANT

Due to weather & traffic conditions, you will not be able to designate a specific time for the arrival of your luggage. Your luggage will be placed inside of your machiya accommodation between 4PM~7PM.

Can I send my luggage to Kyoto before my arrival (check-in date)?

Yes. You may send luggage to our MACHIYA INNS & HOTELS Welcome Desk prior to your arrival (check-in date).

Please DO NOT send your luggage directly to the accommodation, as our other guests will be staying in the accommodation. Our staff cannot receive your luggage on your behalf if it is not sent to our Welcome desk.

Can I send large items? Cardboard boxes? Valuables?

We are only able to accept suitcases, backpacks, or bags with a closure.

Items that cannot be delivered:
① Items exceeding 2 meters in length or 30 kg in weight.
② Items with a total length, width, and height exceeding 2 meters.
③ Precious items, expensive or valuable items, fragile items, animals, dangerous items, perishables, cardboard boxes, items requiring refrigeration or freezing, items containing liquids, and other items that are difficult to handle.

Once we have received your luggage, MACHIYA INNS & HOTELS will do our utmost best to handle your luggage with care. Please note MACHIYA INNS & HOTELS is not responsible for the damage or loss of any items if a guest chooses to use our luggage delivery service.

Can I use the luggage delivery service on my check-out date?

Yes. If you contact our staff at least 1 day before your check-out date, you can have your luggage delivered from your machiya accommodation to our MACHIYA INNS & HOTELS Welcome Desk for an additional fee.

Luggage pick-up from the MACHIYA INNS & HOTELS Welcome Desk will be available between: 4PM~7PM

I don’t want to use the delivery service. Can I leave my luggage after I check out?

Yes. You may leave your luggage at our Welcome Desk for FREE (10AM~7PM)
